Quiet the loop.
Close the day.
A 60-second voice dump becomes a clean tomorrow handoff, a few things to let go, and, when you opt in, a way to see whether the same loops actually moved in the morning.
Tuesday. 11:47 PM. The brain won't stop.
Let go tonight
You do not need to solve the auth screen, Danny's tone, or the dentist appointment before sleep.
Tomorrow
- Ask whoever's covering for Priya about the auth screen before the Thursday demo
- Reply to mom on Thanksgiving - even a "deciding by Friday" closes the loop
- Book the dentist. 30 seconds. Before coffee.
Park for later
The family plan needs an answer, but not at 11:47 PM. A short reply tomorrow is enough to reopen it.
Recurring loop
You returned to Danny's Slack message 3 times. Re-reading it now usually makes it worse, not clearer.
"Tomorrow has the list. Tonight can be done."
Not a journal mode. A measured shutdown loop.
Closed-loop reality
MindDump does not stop at predicting tomorrow. It checks the handoff against completed Reminders so stuck loops are visible.
Personal entity model
Sarah, the launch, mom, the auth screen: the durable artifact is the local graph of people, projects, and recurring themes.
Intervention before reporting
If the dump is too loaded, MindDump can offer a 90-second close before sleep instead of only reporting on the morning after.
Sleep is one signal
HealthKit can help measure the ritual, but the moat is the longitudinal model plus whether real-world actions moved.
Specifics, not promises.
Local history
Entries are stored in the iOS app history. The public website only stores waitlist emails.
No dump database
The Worker processes audio or transcript for structured output and returns it to the app. It does not write dumps to KV, D1, or R2 today.
OpenAI API disclosure
Transcription and summarization run through OpenAI behind a Cloudflare Worker. OpenAI says API data is not used to train models by default.
Reality signals stay local
Reminders and Apple Health checks are optional and used on device. iOS requires full Reminders permission to read completion state; MindDump does not send those signals to the Worker or website.
The patterns start showing themselves.
One shutdown closes a day. Seven nights show which loops came back, which moved in Reminders, and which people or projects are becoming part of your personal model.
Free to try. $19.99 a year for nightly use.
